skypostal is unable to ship my order due to missing personal info, i contacted them and they have not been able to add my info to the package and told me to d it through the store, but i already have contacted ND via email on the 16th of february and got this response
>"Hi Lia,Thank you for reaching out to us. Our apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused. After looking into this, it appears that your package is currently with SkyPostal. Here is your new tracking number as reference; \[number redacted\]. In this case, we suggest that you reach out to them directly. Unfortunately, we don't have direct contact on our end to provide them with your CPF number, if that is required."
skypostal finally gave me this answer last week after contacting them three times in the last month:
>Boa tarde
>
>Seu pacote se encontra na warehouse da SkyPostal de Miami e não foi despachado por falta da informação do CPF.
>
>Sem CPF não é possível liberar o pacote na RF.
>
>Favor entrar em contato com a loja e pedir para enviar essa informação.
which translates to this in english
>Good afternoon
>
>Your package is in the warehouse of SkyPo…

Hey, sorry for the hassle. I have never even heard of CPF numbers. I just tried to do a test order to Brazil, and there is no way for us to even ask customers to input a CPF at checkout. I found an article on Shipstation, which is what we use.
https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038650071-Shipping-to-Brazil
It looks like they want us to put it in the "company" field at checkout.
What a weird way to do it! It says this went into place in January 2020... We shipped thousands of packages to Brazil since then without issue. Weird that it is coming up now. Well now we know Brazilian customers need to put "CPF XXX.XXX.XXX-XX" in the company field when checking out. Looks like we will have to write some custom code to give instructions for that at checkout. We are in the process of planning a redesign, with a completely custom checkout process, so this will be a good time for that.
Sorry for the confusion and hassle. I will make sure my team knows about this CPF stuff, and has instructions on how to handle it going forward.
