Package stuck in customs for a long time

I ordered some stuff from nootropics depot to Canada and it has been stuck in customs for 17 days so far. I've never had anything stuck in customs for this long and I'm worried that it isn't going to come.
Has this happened to anybody else? Should I just wait longer?

Yes this has happened to me as well. One time I ordered something on Black Friday and I only received it in mid-January.
It's a combination of them sending the packages late, and customs. Sometimes it's one or the other, sometimes it's both.
I ordered a package in late-February, and they only started to ship it out 3 weeks after my order. Hope it doesn't stay stuck at customs for an additional waiting period.
ND has good products and they're lucky that no other company is really rivalling their products with a damn near one-stop shop. If there was a competitor who got it right and fixed their shipping stuff, I would switch over. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with using them and sucking up the shitty wait times.
This is also why I order 6x of each thing that I get so that I don't run out of supply cuz ordering and waiting really sucks and messes up my stacks.
Also, one of my packages came in on time a couple weeks back, and I was charged customs/duties for the first time on the Free Shipping Method option. Hope it doesn't happen again.

As I have said over and over, no orders sit in our warehouse for 3 weeks. That's just not true, or I guess as you say: "that's cap." Everything goes out same day. Black Friday/Cyber Monday can have an extra day or two at most. I literally walk our warehouse at the end of the day on big sale days. Everything goes out. Asendia doesn't scan until they sort it in their California warehouse, so it can look like it was not picked up. However, they always pick it up same day. They just scan the big bag all the orders go in. They don't scan each parcel. It's stupid, and I have voiced that to them. However, that's how Asendia works. The only way to fix it is to fire Asendia and use another service, which we are considering. However, we had issues with DHL Ecommerce and USP Mail Innovations, too. Low cost international services just seem to have different issues across the board. FedEx has a new service they are trying to get us to move to, but it is more expensive, and who knows if we will just have different issues on that. Still, the delays with Asendia to Canada seem fucking stupid to me, so we are most likely at least going to switch services to Canada.
