Why is NDs NMN dosage size only 125mg when typical dosage amount should be 8x that (according to DSs recommendation)?

Title. I’m just trying to figure out how much to take and in what form (capsule, enteric, powder). I read the post explaining the benefits of enteric but the dosage amount is all over the place.

I currently have the capsules and will probably get powder and enteric too just in case. If it makes a difference, I’m male in mid 30’s

Would breaking the tablet in half allow for slight decomposition in the stomach while leaving some intact to make it to the intestines? Or would that completely defeat the purpose and render the enteric costing useless? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, I know you’re a busy man.

That's a tough thing to answer, as there are so many variables at play. Yes, it would allow for slight dissolution in the stomach, and yes it would leave some intact to reach the small intestine. How much and what ratios would be anyone's guess, though.
