Question regarding ND’s product dosages

Original post in this thread

I was wondering what is the policy/philosophy behind the recommanded dosages of ND products. Are they just based according to what most research suggest ? Are they they just here to give an indication on average dosage recommandation ?
I am asking because I have seen a lot of people not taking recommanded dosage of some products.
For example I have seen more than once people taking 500mg of Primavie Shilajit instead of the 250mg recommanded. Some people taking up to 2gr of L-Tyrosine instead of 500mg etc.
Should I stick to what ND recommands or is it actually "opened" to self experimentation ?

Another more precise question about magnesium L-Threonte.
Recommanded dosage is 1g at night for a week then 1g morning and another 1gr at night. What is the reason behind it ? What improvement can be expected after uping the dosage ?

Thank’s in advance

Thank's a lot for the quick reply and your professionalism, this makes sense. Haven't tried taking Magtein in the morning yet even though it turns out to be very potent for my sleep after two weeks of use. I'll give it a try tomorrow and stick to your recommended dosages for the rest of my stack for now.

ETA on when Lithium Threonate will come to fruition?! I am sooooo excited for this and have been checking the ETA’s daily, haha. The last update was 4 months ago. Thanks for all you guys do!

The manufacturer we were working with pulled out on the project, and the other labs we have gotten interested want crazy MOQs. We are still working on it, but it is hard to get manufacturers to take on projects right now
