I finally figured out what is breaking the website on desktop and mobile safari - private relay

Safari has a great feature that helps hide your IP address from website to reduce tracking.
Similar to javascript and content blockers, it seems on more rare occasions to break site functionality.
On ND's website it prevents the page from fully loading way too often (mainly on mobile but also on desktop) and often prevents the nav bar icons from showing up and worst, it prevents the quantity buttons from loading, making adding to cart impossible.
Unfortunately, unlike content blockers, you cannot exclude a single website from this feature.
Can ND please have the web devs look into this and see if they can fix the problem. I don't want to turn off this feature that protects me on other sites, but it's a pain in the butt to turn it off every time i want to use ND's site.
Thanks

Hmm, I have not seen that before but perhaps. I thought the mobile networks are just pipes?
If you have a CDN set up with your host (and they have decent support) they can help diagnose this but if it’s hard to replicate that could be tricky.
Another theory is that mobile OSs/browsers might have load optimizations for on network vs WiFi and could be blocking larger script files or other resources and accidentally break some functionality or just choke the loading time.

Many mobile networks have a lot of things going on. Many use deep packet inspection for various reasons, like agile provisioning and efficient enforcement of mobile network policies. That could be playing a role, too. I have not been in mobile/data networking in a while, though. So I will have to get someone that is more knowledgeable than I am to help figure it out.
