Is there any ND micronized supplements, if not why not, is it cost related?
I would love to have the opinion of ND on micronized supplements vs non-micronized supplements.

Thank you.

Thank you for explaining what's happening in your lab., I understand the whole process about water solubility and micron size, micronized does not only have an effect on solubility but to enhance bioavailability also.
Ultra-micronized is used (not by all) mainly for transdermal application or inhaled products.
The cost of micronizing a product (when well done) is expensive and, I agree with you, not always cost-effective if there is not a market big enough for a specific micronized product.
I tried a none-micronized and micronized DHEA supplement just to take this one and I can attest that I had better result with the micronized DHEA.

Could your results from the two DHEA products be because one of them was more potent/pure than the other, rather than due to particle size? Do you know if the vendor you purchased from did any particle size testing on the batches? Without lab data, it's hard to say. Maybe one vendor just put more DHEA in the capsules than the other. Of course it could be due to one being micronized, but it's really hard to go off vendor claims alone.
There was one study in 1992 that found micronized DHEA was better at converting to DHEA-S, and crystalline DHEA was better at converting to testosterone. However, I am not sure what the mechanism there might be.
