Just a quick note that the “items in cart email” offers a promo code to incentivize purchase, but doesn’t take into account whether or not you have new items in your cart. The new item code is a better discount. Just a bit redundant.

New items code applies to new products. Abandoned cart email applies to all. There's no way to have the abandoned cart email not send or change based on the products people look at, at least not built-in to Bigcommerce. We are going to be setting up Omnisend soon, though. That is going to take over for a lot of the built-in Bigcommerce features, and it has much more sophisticated automations we can use. So we will be changing things up with the new system over the course of the next few months.
