Heyo! Was wondering if there is a planned restock of 7,8-DHF powder--looks to be all sold out :(

Awww, that's too bad. Sorry to hear that :(
I had a bad feeling about it last week watching the inventory slowly go down, so I stocked up just in case and have around 9g total. Should last for a while pahahahaha :P
Out of curiosity, what do you do with the raw material that doesn't meet spec? Do you return it to the vendor and get a refund? Or do you have to eat the cost?

Probably unreacted precursor. It's more brown, and one of the starting precursors can become brown when oxidized. That could be what happened. Maybe the synthesis was fine, but they let the primary precursor oxidize before, which resulted in it coming through. When a batch fails, we make the supplier take it back and credit us, or replace it with a good batch. When we were smaller sometimes we would have to eat the cost, because we were not big enough to force the suppliers to fix things. However, now most of the time we get them to.
