Gotu Kola and Tongkat Ali - Thinning Hair

I am very new to nootropics, and I ordered some Gotu Kola yesterday. I read a lot of information here about the benefits. Mainly for Anxiety, Memory/Focus, healthy skin, and the kicker was healthier hair.
My hair is thinning a bit, and while I know this wouldn't be any sort of cure all, I am hoping Gotu Kola could slow it down a bit by making my hair more healthy.
Has anyone experienced any positive benefits to hair loss as a result of taking Gotu Kola?
I am also looking into Tongkat Ali to increase libido and normalize T levels. But, upon looking around a bit, it seems that some people have had an issue of slight thinning of their hair. I certainly don't want to speed up the balding process lol.
If Gotu Kola has a net positive in regards to helping with hair loss, would it be enough to offset some of the possible side effects of Tongkat Ali?
If I am way off on any of this or looking at it the wrong way, please feel free to school me a bit. As I said, I am new to all of this and just hoping to find some guidance.

I've been on finasteride for over a year with no side effect and weirly enough my libido has increased. Just wonder if finasteride will help combat the rise in dht when taking tongkat? I can't see why not

Well sure, it certainly will combat a rise in DHT. It's very good at that.
