In February, u/Pretty-Chill and u/NootropicsDepotGuru will explore the fascinating mechanisms of Reduced Glutathione and N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) in the next episode of In Search of Insight, Nootropics Depot’s monthly podcast. Now, it’s time for your questions!
Reduced Glutathione is an essential amino acid compound that’s present in both our bodies and our diets. Despite being a lesser-known compound, reduced glutathione plays an important role in our body’s ability to balance oxidation which benefits our immune system, cellular function, skin health, and cognitive function. N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) is an acetylated version of the amino acid Cysteine, and also plays an important role in glutathione production in the body.
Have you wondered how reduced glutathione benefits the immune system? How does glutathione stack up against other oxidation-balancing compounds? Have you discovered an exciting research study on the effects or benefits of NAC? Submit your questions on reduced glutathione and NAC in a comment on the thread below for a chance to be featured in…

Thank you for that. As an industry expert, Are you able to offer your personal non legal etc opinion on whether or not they will continue to target nac?
It just seemed so odd since it had been around forever.

It's really hard for me to say. It doesn't seem like they are wanting to ban it. They might just be clarifying a more strict stance on claims being made about it.
