Slow release hydrogen sulfide donors like NAC are good for more than just raising Glutathione. Glutathione is merely a decent side effect.
Granted, I prefer Thioglycine or S-propargyl-cysteine. I'm just weird that way, though.

Correct. NAC has other effects than just glutathione. This is why I think if your goal is increasing glutathione levels alone, then taking reduced glutathione daily is better. Some people don't like the other effects that NAC can give. Other people love them. It just depends on the person. The nice thing about reduced glutathione is that it is doing that single thing directly without other effects. It's also why I take Micromag now instead of magnesium L-threonate or magnesium glycinate. The glycine and threonic acid have their own effects. If I just want magnesium, Micromag does that for me without the other stuff.
What effects do you get from thioglycine or S-propargyl-cysteine? What doses do you take?
