Appreciation & Support Post

Thank you for the support! To say the last couple years have been difficult would be a massive understatement. Since the pandemic has started, it has been one hurdle after another. Sometimes 6 hurdles at once! Running an honest business through these times has been a nightmare. I am frankly exhausted. However, I know what we are doing is right and just. I believe in our mission, and I know that we are helping a lot of people. I speak to many people via PM about it. They tell me their stories. I am intimately aware of how our efforts are affecting people's lives. That's really the only reason we can push through the tough times. Make no mistake about it, tough times are here and are ahead. I don't often publicly speak about all that is going on, but we are going through a tough time right now. However, I am not new to tough times. It's in the depths that we are forced to push ourselves the most.

I am fortunate enough to have gone through an extremely bad depression where I almost took my own life multiple times. I say fortunate, because that experience has shaped how I react and see situations ever since. I can put things into perspective a bit better. No matter how bad things get these days, it is nothing compared to what I pulled myself out of before. This gives a sense of calm I wouldn't have otherwise. Every day that I am alive is a gift. Every day that I can wake up and feel emotions is a better day than I have endured in the past. So while I am exhausted and really hoping positive things are on the horizon, today is still a good day. I am here and fortunate enough to keep pushing forward on my mission, even if that means we have to pivot a bit. Adverse conditions are just challenges that needs to be overcome. We will overcome them as we always have. I am very proud of what we have accomplished, and I am excited about what is ahead! I really am appreciative of the support all of you give to my team and I. We will keep pushing forward to be a positive force in this industry.
