I realize this isn't a comedy podcast, however Erica from everything I'm picking up imho, could give the audience a quick history about Nootropics Depot. Or at least have a quick synopsis if you will of some kind of instead of going directly into a compound most people have never heard of.
And I feel like she's trying to outsmart the person who is actually offering the information on the two that you've done so far.
To make this work in my opinion or to make it more popular (and this may not be any goal whatsoever; just information), she has to drop the ego or the I'm smarter than you attitude to make this really work.
It sounds like two scientists particular Erica, that makes it sound like 1978 is calling and is missing there voice recorder with one of those little microphones.
Just a personal opinion as my personal opinion has been well on many times in my illustrious career, 👀 and I'm picking up on these things and they're very loud in a very boring way

While I always appreciate feedback, as we do want to always improve and make things better, I think you are reading into things incorrectly. Erika is not a scientist. Everything she knows is from speaking to Emiel. What she is trying to do is provide some levity and give some simplified explanations to help people follow along. Sometimes Emiel can talk in a really high level that goes over a lot of people's heads. Erika's asides are not meant to act like she is outsmarting anyone, as she is learning from Emiel as she goes as well. She is trying to break some points down into more simplified forms to try and keep everyone interested and understanding of the topics. She is definitely not trying to talk down to anyone, nor trying to come across as a know-it-all. There is absolutely no ego behind her tone, because honestly she is learning all this as she goes from Emiel's research and explanations. Tons of people in our offices say that if they listen to conversations between myself and Emiel that everything flies over their heads. We don't want to be talking over everyone on these podcasts. We want to go deep into things, but also help the average person to understand the points we are trying to make along the way. That is all Erika is trying to do.
