An ode to PEA

I have chronic headaches/migraines and dizziness and was finally diagnosed with vestibular migraine. I've taken so, so many medications and supplements. Some have helped then stopped working or just not helped at all. I finally added PEA to my stack and let me just say, it has changed my life.
I'm taking 400mg 3 times a day. This seems to be the optimal dose for me. I take it every single day.
I finally no longer deal with daily headaches or frequent migraines. Even my constant dizziness has subsided and I didn't even expect it to help with that. Sometimes I'll get breakthrough headaches or dizziness but it is no longer a daily issue and it no longer dominates my life and prevents me from functioning. The dizziness and headaches have been ruining my life and my ability to function for months and I was at my wits end. PEA was the answer.
Just throwing it out there for anyone who is also dealing with chronic headaches or migraines. Give PEA a try. Go up on the dose a little, up to 1200mg a day, before you give up on it. It did give me some diarrhea at first but I took some Immodium for a couple of days and then it didn't happen again. No other side effects.

I agree- I would totally be all over a Boswellia product. Makes my knee pain go away!
/u/MisterYouAreSoDumb how prohibitively expensive would a frankincense extract be to source?

We are working on a Boswellia serrata extract that will be pretty cool. That's what frankincense comes from. It's more complex in actions, though. You need a combo of the boswellic acids, including KBA and AKBA, to get the full effects.
