I see this was discussed a year ago, but has any progress been made toward determining what part of cissus q. is active for pain relief? Should we hold out hope for a ND CQ extract?
I've been taking water/ethanol extract with the hope that it's superior to a methanol only extract but I think the methanol product was more effective.

That's promising, thanks. Care to disclose any insight you've gleaned on compounds to isolate for or ideal solvents? Also interested in what dose you're trialing.

I've been trialing 500-1,000mg doses. We have been trying out water, ethanol, and dual extracts. From your comments, perhaps I should try a methanol extract. We have found that it is not just one or two compounds giving the effects. You need a combo of all of them, which is why more broad extraction techniques are likely going to result in a more potent product.
