Sleep support and SNRI
Original post in this thread

Does anyone know if it is safe to take sleep support with a SNRI (cymbalta). I am not sure if any of the ingredients could trigger serotonin syndrome. Any info or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Serotonin syndrome is actually pretty difficult to cause. Taking 5-HTP with serotonin releasers/re-uptake inhibitors is really the only way. Nothing in Sleep Support will do that. You will have some up-regulation of tryptophan hydroxylase from the bacopa, but it still keeps the rate-limiting enzyme in place. This means your body is still in control over how much is made. This will prevent any serious interactions like that.
