It's really the only way I can give people honest advice. If I am not personally trying things, how can I really comment on effects? Plus, we go down interesting research paths a lot because of weird effects we get with specific things or combos. We may never have stumbled on some of the mechanisms we have without me trying stuff and seeing how I reacted.

We have found that total kavalactone percentage is a poor indicator of kava quality. We tested a lot of kava over the past 2 years. Some of them were 70% kavalactones. There was almost no correlation to total kavalactone
