That was March 2020... Anything else happen in March 2020? I don't know, maybe the largest pandemic in 100 years blowing up?!? LOL. Even with that shit show, it took us over a year to run out. COVID-19 fucked a lot of shit up. Any estimates made from before the pandemic can just be thrown out the window. Getting a 40 foot shipping container from China to here used to cost $4,000. We just got a quote last week for $18,000!!! That's if you can even get one, and if the ship it is on can even be unloaded. Then you add in the import and clearance fees, and that 40 foot container will cost more like $23,000. So the shipping that used to cost $4K is now $23K.

I've been warning people that the supply chain is like Armageddon out there. It's really really bad right now. Air shipping is nuts because of it now, too. What used to add $5/kg to a raw material cost is now adding $20-$25/kg for air shipping. Then you get tariffs, too. Our last shipment of oxiracetam has 30.5% in tariffs tacked on on top of all these extra costs. We are not talking 10-15% increases in costs here. There is a reason the past year and a half has seen so many small supplement companies bought up by large companies like Nestle. The small guys can't weather these cost increases.
