Hey, it was me! LOL. My answer there was pretty comprehensive. There is no direct evidence that it affects hair growth. There is speculation, based on the receptor affinities, but even then the data is not 100% clear.

This is why the link is not so clear. It's not like every athlete is bald. LOL. Some people might find more hair loss with increased BDNF from exercising, but the vast majority won't. Some people get hair loss with SSRIs
