Getting "grey area" nootropics will be MUCH more difficult to some countries in the EU.

Preface: Please do correct me if I'm wrong.
Most of us Europeans know that the cheapest shipping option, DHL eCommerce, usually goes through without too much of a hassle with customs. I've ordered Oxiracetam, Aniracetam, Coluracetam, Phenylpiracetam, and some other "grey area" nootropic compounds to Germany before both via FedEx and DHL Express, as well as DHL eCommerce. The two former ones often led to trouble, while the latter ALWAYS went through. NEVER had a problem. Racetams, mushrooms, agmatine, etc... No problem (to Germany).
Well... I took a look at the upcoming changes that will be taking place on the 1st of July, and one major point is that customs declaration will now be an obligation.
What does that mean? Well, I was always asked to provide a customs declaration when I ordered via FedEx or DHL Express to Germany, and half the time, if they didn't like something on the list, they sent it back. I never had to provide a customs declaration when I ordered via DHL eCommerce, which might explain why everything went through unnoticed.
Seems like that'll be changing soon.
Really looking forward to the EU-based store. Seriously.

The problem isn't the substances (they are legal in the EU), the problem is the new VAT system that requires all imports into the Union to pay VAT from 1€ of value. This is going to be a shitshow. The best solution, until they open the EU based shop, will be to implement a DDP shipment system (like iHerb uses) where you prepay the VAT at checkout and it's delivered directly without having to provide (from the buyer side) anything to customs. In the case of iHerb they use Asendia, which imports to the Netherlands and you pay the Dutch VAT at Purchase (around 8-10%). Asendia then ships to NL, imports to the EU there, and then forwards to you as an intra-EU shipment. I know they're working on this, hopefully it will be able to be implemented ASAP.

We've been on Asendia since Monday. It's already in place and operational as we speak.
