turkey tail question

I ordered the turkey tail capsules but wondering about the logic for the suggested use. I see other popular brands suggest 3 capsules (range of 350mg-500mg per capsule). Nootropics suggests only 1 capsule per day. Is there a reason for this? Can I start with 1 and up my dosage over time?
