Request - Paraxanthine

Paraxanthine is the major metabolite (84%) of caffeine. It has similar effects and half-life as caffeine, but may be less anxiety-inducing. Now that I think about it, these caffeine metabolites (theophylline, theobromine, paraxanthine) are likely the reason I perceive caffeine as having a much longer effect than its supposed half-life... because it metabolizes into chemicals with similar half-life and magnitude of effect.
There's a YCombinator funded startup, Revel, which is doing this exact thing - beginning to bring paraxanthine to market. I'm not sure if this makes it more difficult for y'all to sell it if, for instance, they have a patent on the cheapest manufacturing process... nonetheless, I'd be interested in trying this compound.

My pleasure! That startup is fucking hilarious, though.
We are making coffee for caffeine sensitive people. We do this by producing the world's first caffeine replacement, paraxanthine. It's better than caffeine at waking you up and causes fewer side effects, like anxiety and jitteriness.

"In this study we show that in rats paraxanthine has a stronger locomotor activating effect than caffeine or the two other main metabolites of caffeine, theophylline and theobromine. As previously described for caffeine, the locomotor activating doses of paraxanthine more efficiently counteract the locomotor depressant effects of an adenosine A1 than an adenosine A2A receptor agonist."
Hey, do you get jittery with caffeine? Well we got a MORE jittery alternative for you to try! Try it out! Better yet, just hype us up so we can fleece investors. We don't actually want to sell anything. We just want stupid investors to buy our stock to pump it up!
