Yes, we do 3rd party testing. Moreover we built our own lab to confirm everything ourselves. Our lab section on the site goes into a lot of detail on things, but I can speak to it here as well.
The entire reason I started this company was to advance the lab testing and quality control standards of the industry. If you have not been on Reddit long, you likely don't know the history behind it. Well I have been in nootropics for a long time now. I started out like many of you. I heard about compounds that could improve cognition, and I started trying them on myself. I just bought from who was available at the time, which looking back was like the shadiest shit ever. The vendors at the time were all just buying whatever they could get from China, not doing ANY lab testing on it, packaging it in their living rooms, then shipping it to customers in mylar bags. It was bad. You guys don't know how good you have it today, and that is all because of the effort I put in to making this industry more legitimate. I was trialing all these novel (at the time) nootropics on myself, and relaying my experiences here on Reddit. I became a moderator of /r/Nootropics and decided that I needed to do something about the complete lack of quality control in nootropics. I started the /r/Nootropics testing program, where I would get donatio…

I guess I went over the 10K max characters again...
So that is a long way to answer your question. Yes, we use 3rd party labs. However, it is so much more than that. We only use ISO certified 3rd party lab partners, and we audit those labs to ensure they are operating at our standards. We don't just get a number back from them. We get packets of the raw data back that we can analyze the data on ourselves. We have them run OOS investigations on any results falling outside the expected ranges, and then recreate the test methods on our equipment here in our lab to verify their numbers. You know how many times we have caught incorrect numbers or bad data from 3rd party labs? Hell, we even monitor the trends of the various lab locations to spot issues. Eurofins is a lab we use on some things, and they have a couple lab locations here in the US that we have gotten data from. They recently closed one of those locations, and moved everything over to the other one. Well we discovered that when they moved those methods, they did not transfer them properly for the machines there. The data coming out of the second location was all off, and we proved that with our own in-house testing. Literally nobody else out there is doing stuff like that. Nobody. Vendors want to get a testing result back from a batch so that they can sell it and make money. If they get a passing number back, they are not going to question that lab's results. We do. I am perfectly fine losing money while we prove things are 100% valid. That's what people expect of me, and the bar that I have set for myself over the years. This is the kind of example I need to set to really accomplish the mission I set out on years ago. I swear to god that I am going to revolutionize the lab testing and quality control standards of the dietary supplement industry. I will drag all the other brands there kicking and screaming if I have to. I already have made this industry much safer and more trusted than before I came into it. I know that might sound a bit arrogant, but it is the truth. This industry is as good as it is today because of the efforts I have put in over the past decade forcing it to be so. It's been a LOT of work. I have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into making nootropics safer and more trusted for all of you. I am very proud of the results of that. If you have any specific questions about lab testing or the science behind things, I am always here to answer your questions. You can see that I like going on long-winded rants! LOL
