Curious about shipping cost.

I have an online business so I ship a lot of items. I am curious why nootropics depot shipping costs are so high. There are flat rate shipping options with usps, some of which are over a dollar less than the cheapest shipping options on nootropics depot. In addition to being over a dollar cheaper they are plenty large enough to fit multiple items in. I am wondering why I can’t order a 5gram container of noopept without paying more than the cost of a flat rate shipping box?

That makes total sense. The nature of my business mandates free shipping in some cases so saving a little bit of our money on a good percentage of orders we send out makes a difference. Also I agree with your points about different scales requiring different processes. Thanks for explaining your reasons, I always learn something whenever I ask you a question.

I really wish USPS was as good as it was when I started the company in 2013. Back then they were cheap, easy, quick, the tracking updated, and I could get actual answers from someone when there was a problem. It has sucked for me to slowly watch them fall from grace. Not only has the service gone to shit, it has increased in prices many times. I remember shipping orders USPS First Class INTERNATIONAL, and having them get there quickly for very little money. Now I might as well just throw the order in the trash myself instead of shipping USPS First Class overseas.
We absolutely lose sales because we don't have a cheap shipping option for small orders. However, we make up for it in volume with dedicated customers that place larger orders. We give everyone free FedEx day shipping on orders over $50, though. You just need the economies of scale to make that work. It's not possible for small individual orders, and bending our standards for small orders has always bit us in the ass in the past. Sometimes losing a sale is better than getting it, but regretting it later. I would rather focus on what we are good at than try to get absolutely every sale we can.
