Why did you go with 90% instead of 99%? Is there a stability issue with the 99% or was this a choice made for cost-effectiveness?

When you have a plant extract, getting to 99% is expensive. It's so much more expensive to get that last 9% that it is rarely economically justifiable. This is why our hesperidin is a 90% as well. I am going to make up numbers, but let's say a 90% extract is $200/kg. A 99% might be $350/kg. There's no way to justify that price increase for the minimal increase in %, as you can just take more of the 90%. It also depends on the specific plant and target ingredient. Some active ingredients are easy to extract, due to their polarity/solubility and how different they are from other compounds in the plant. Others are more difficult and expensive, because they are harder to isolate from the other compounds in the plant. So while one plant extract might be easy to get to a 98-99%, another might be difficult to even get past 80-90%. So it just depends. We always take into account a ton of factors before deciding on a standardization.
