A Question about the Theacrine (Teacrine) Blog Post

I love theacrine for its mood-boosting properties. My motivation to exercise skyrockets, my outlook on life dramatically brightens, and my libido even pops up a couple levels. The only issue is that I feel like it actually decreases my cognitive performance. It's not a dramatic drop, but I do find myself making more errors in my work. I think it may have to do with an enhanced sense of confidence, but I'm not sure.
My question about the blog post is related to the above mentioned anecdotal effects. The ND blog (as well as many others) mentions that theacrine "activates dopamine receptors." What exactly does this mean? In the case of other substances, they might increase dopamine levels by blocking the transporter, inhibiting reuptake, perhaps acting as an agonist, or in more indirect ways such as nicotine's MOA.
I ask because I wonder if there's something I might stack with theacrine to modulate the cognitive effects, so that I still get the mood-lifting effects while eliminating the proclivity to pass over easy mistakes.
Thanks in advance.

Hmm, but it feels substantially more motivating than caffeine does. Maybe it’s just a tolerance issue. Thanks for your reply!

Remember, everyone is different. Your brain chemistry might just be suited to it. There are some things that I don't get strong effects from, but others love, and vice versa. If it works for you, great!
