Are ND Fish oil products IFOS certified?
Original post in this thread

Came across this website when watching one of Rhonda Patrick's interviews and got curious. I recently got the Triple Strength fish oil from Nootropics Depot. Where does ND source their oil from? And if it is not yet IFOS certified, are there plans underway to do so?
Edit: All the constant downvoters, you're doing no one any service by constantly downvoting ANY post/comment that poses a genuine question/concern to the company. I've seen this happen multiple times on this sub. This sub isn't meant to be exclusively for praise posts. When this constantly happens, one can't help but feel like there is gatekeeping in what can be said about the brand, and that is NOT helpful to the image that the owners have diligently built up over the years. u/MisterYouAreSoDumb has always answered all queries with the necessary information, as he has in this post, and I think many people would like to know the info that is on this post. What you are doing is mindless and unhelpful, wherein even a comment about what you think is more helpful and honest than this pathetic response of downvoting.

So they leverage the reputation of existing brands to slingshot the recognition of their own. These organizations work like businesses, not nonprofit consumer advocate organizations.
This is absolutely wild and kinda anti-consumer. I keep reading about how the supplement industry is unregulated but never knew the mechanisms inside the industry would be insidious like this.
That's what we are pushing for. So perhaps someday you will see me spearheading a certification organization myself.
This would be amazing. I'm excited for that day to come. Will ND also expand into providing non-nootropic supplements eventually? Is that a thought you've ever considered before? (Probably not the path you're taking considering your primary focus, but I'm posing this question since you mentioned how you are very wary about trusting even the top brands now).

This is every industry in the US. The deeper you look, the more shit you find. This is not unique to the supplement industry.

We already do a lot of non-nootropic supplements. Sure, the bulk of our focus is on cognition. However, we have really branched out from that the past few years. We will continue to do so where it makes sense, and we can bring novel/quality things out.
