Has anyone had issues with their ND scale going apeshit after awhile?

So my ND scale has been great for the past handful of months since I got it. All of the sudden it started going crazy when I try to use it. I’m talking the numbers moving up and down all over the place when I try to use it.
I changed the batteries to fresh ones and it didn’t help. I calibrated it and that didn’t help either.
I’m now fucked because I can’t accurately weigh the multitude of supplements I have been using daily.
ND has a warranty on it but money is so tight right now because of stupid covid, that I can’t really afford to send it back for them to look at and determine if they can fix it or send me another.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Does anyone have a trick or suggestion that may fix it?
I really need it to work. The only other scale I have is a gram scale which is of no use for most of my supplements.

When you say depressing do you mean pushing in the weight plate that the tray sits on? If so how hard would you push?
I would be hesitant to do this because I don’t want to void the warranty so maybe u/misteryouaresodumb can chime in here and tell me whether trying this would void the warranty ?
Also thanks for this man I appreciate the response!

You can press on it. Just don't be rough with it. You can also spray compressed air on it. We will cover the warranty for normal shit. The extended damage warranty is for things outside of the norm, like dropping it in water or having it fall off a high table.
