To cycle or not to cycle?

Hello everyone.
I have a few questions. I am especially interested in u/MisterYouAreSoDumb's answers, but anyone who considers itself well educated on the subject is welcome to give an answer.
I have been taking Red Reishi, Cordyceps, Lion's Mane and Bacopa for a while now. And I find it really hard to decide wether I should cycle x or not because of so many conflicting information. So since I know MisterYouAreSoDumb is very knowledgeable in this, I thought I'd ask him.
I take a 1 week break from Red Reishi after 4 weeks of use, because I read that taking Red Reishi extracts for more than a month is bad for the liver. Is that right? If not, is there any reason not to take it non-stop? I take one capsule of the 8:1 extract before bed
I always lose track of how long I have been taking Lion's Mane, but when I think I've been taking it for 3-4 months non-stop I take a 1-2 weeks break, because I read that more than 3 months can lead to bad side effects. Is that necessary? Never had any bad side-effect. I take one capsule of the 8:1 extract first thing in the morning.
Cordyceps I never take breaks, I stop when I run out until I refill on the rest. Any reason to take breaks? I take…

I always suggest cycling everything. Not because it is absolutely necessary, but because it is always a good idea to give yourself a chance to get back to baseline. It also gives you the opportunity to feel what you feel like off something, which is often a good indicator of the benefits you are getting while on. Sometimes the benefits can build slowly and creep in that you don't realize how much positive effects it is having till you cycle off. So as a general rule, I suggest cycling off for a week every few months just as a standard practice.
