What is Chocamine? How does it compare to just eating high % dark chocolate?

How did you find out it was an Uric acid buildup causing your issues ? Just wondering so I could test if my own joint issues could be due from that. Did you have other signs or you searched around why were your joints hurting specifically after drinking ?
I have some joint issues, I think mostly artritis that I fixed but I have a "new" joint issue in my right hand that seems different from when I had artritis so I think it's still in remission but trying to find out how I could diagnose the cause/solution.

Research and trial and error. I was getting aches and pains in my joints the day after drinking. It got worse as time went on. I just figured I was getting old, and perhaps inflammation was the issue. However, I decided to research more. I found out that my dad had a history of gout. So I looked into what gout was, the mechanisms behind it, and what can set those mechanisms off. This led me down a rabbit hole. Gout is caused by a buildup of uric acid in joints due to purines present in what we are consuming. It used to be called the rich man's disease, because it was usually more expensive foods that led to it, like meat, fish, and alcohol. So I decided to figure out strategies to address the buildup of uric acid, then test it on myself after drinking. Sure enough, with tart cherry, bromelain, and celery seed before and after drinking, and Chocamine the morning after, it completely went away. I had also been eating a lot more aged meats, cheeses, and fish in my diet. So I think that set the stage, and then the alcohol set it off. Now I don't have to worry about it with my supplementation regimen. It's night and day for me. So now we are working to bring a good tart cherry extract out.
