Magtein Withdrawal

Original post in this thread

I just bought some magtein from ND. I just say that there seems to be a significant withdrawal affect when you stop taking it. Is that true and something I should be worried about? Thanks

I actually added Magtein to my stack (again) at the same time as I started applying topical Fin. Hoping that helps with my hair loss, though since I started both at the same time I won't be able to tell.

I know in the past you'd mentioned researching hair loss. Was there every in progress with that?

Hair loss is super complex, but I certainly understand it a lot better than I did before. You want to block DHT specifically at the follicle, but not systemically. Because DHT has a lot of good effects for guys that you don't want to lose just to prevent hair loss. So specific targeting at the follicle is the holy grail. That's why this threonic acid thing is so cool! It inhibits DHT at the dermal papilla cells. We are considering offering threonic acid as a standalone.

Then you have BDNF, which is linked to DHT in a complex system. This is why increased BDNF levels can lead to hair loss. I am still trying to figure that whole system out, though.

ETA on when Lithium Threonate will come to fruition?! I am sooooo excited for this and have been checking the ETA’s daily, haha. The last update was 4 months ago. Thanks for all you guys do!

The manufacturer we were working with pulled out on the project, and the other labs we have gotten interested want crazy MOQs. We are still working on it, but it is hard to get manufacturers to take on projects right now
