Hi guys,

I’m suffering from an autoimmune disease (lichen on scalp - similar to lupus) and the main problem that I‘m facing is dry skin and scalp, causing itching.
If I don’t use cold water, I get flaky and scaly skin. In addition, due to my disease, my scalp if often inflamed/red.

Besides topical solutions, which are helping in some
way, I’d like to find something to moisturize the skin “from the inside”.

So far my research highlighted the supps below.
Can you give me your feedback and tell which are the best supplements (also outside this list)?
Please bear in mind that I should avoid anything that boosts the immune system. Thanks!

* white jelly mushroom - it should boost collagen production. It’s very interesting, since it could give also some mood and focus benefits

* MSM

* collagen

* fish oil/omega 3. However it seems that also omega 6 and 9, even if they are pro-inflammatory, could help with dry skin. I’ve seen mixed opinions on this topic

* Iodine. This could probably help since I have other hypothyroid symptoms besides dry skin, i.e. brain fog and cold extremities

* taurine. I’ve read somewhere that it could fight scalp calcification, and it has many more bene…

/u/MisterYouAreSoDumb I'd be interested in getting your opinion on this, especially white jelly mushroom usage with an autoimmune skin disease

thanks a lot!

I would start with 1 gram white jelly mushroom, our enteric coated gotu kola, and our Injuv hyaluronic acid softgels. That's a really good stack for skin healing and health. The only side effect is that it can make some people too oily. However, if you already have dry skin, you want that moisture. You might consider adding in our EGCG green tea extract, too. That helps regulate sebum production. So that can help prevent acne from the increases moisture and collagen the other supplements will give.

That's about what I expected. These are just internal COAs. To start, analyzing nitrogen content is not an appropriate methodology for amino acid assay. This is the same shit China got away with on infant formula and spi

LOL, /r/NMN is shilled to shit. I have tagged so many Renue/ABS shills over the years. I just went on one of the current posts on there asking which NMN vendor is best, and there are THREE Renue shills suggesting them in

Just how bad is this industry?

Absolutely none? Probably zero from bigger brands. 50% off? Truthfully, I have not gone out and tested basic vitamins from brands. We have stuck to mostly botanicals and other small molecule organics. My assumption is th
