Agmatine, great effects but somewhat concerning that it lowers my blood pressure

I bought agmatine from ND and had great mood boosting effects from it. Also my pump at the gym was amazing however every single time i take my normal dose (500-1G) my resting blood pressure drops from 110/70 to 103 / 60.
I thought this was just a misreading from my blood pressure monitor so i went to my doctor who is also a friend of mine since he has a calibrated machine also he took my blood pressure manually and my blood pressure was 100/60.
Obviously i got the all clear after running some tests and so on and we concluded after that it must be the agmatine since after the next 2 days i had my normal blood pressure back again.
I was just wondering what is the reason for this? And if anyone else has the same reaction i have?
Also let me know if this kind of post is better suited for another subreddit but i figured since i use ND agmatine i should post it here.

I see no reason why that would happen. Where did you see that? Maybe they were assuming the sulfate salt would cause an increase in stomach acid combined with alcohol? Not sure. In fact, agmatine seems to be protective of the stomach.

" Agmatine should not be taken together with alcohol, due to an increased risk of developing ulcers \[56\]."
" Our results suggest that agmatine had a potent ulcerogenic effect mediated, at least in part, by both alpha2-adrenoceptors and imidazoline receptors. "

Well that is interesting! It looks like it is when they are taken together at the same time. I am not sure if just having it in your system is a problem. It seems to be a localized reaction with agmatine's effects on the α2 adrenergic receptor in the stomach. Based on that study, I would at least avoid taking agmatine around the time of drinking.
