Nootropics Depot Schisandra Chinensis Extract - CYP3A4 Inhibition?

According to this paper (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15342469), gomisin C is an irreversible inhibitor of CYP3A4. I was considering purchasing the Schisandra extract but I'm concerned about irreversible inhibition of CYP3A4 due to a medication I take. Does the ND extract contain significant amounts of gomisin C or other CYP3A4 inhibitory compounds? Unless I get an answer I'll probably just leave it out of my cart to be safe, but I'm intrigued due to some of the anecdotes I've heard.

Not sure on that one, as that specific compound is not part of the standardization we set. I can check with the lab to see how difficult it would be to quantify, though. If you are worried about it interacting with drugs you are on, I would err on the side of caution. I did find an interesting study when I was looking for info on this, though.
Inhibitory effects of Schisandra chinensis on acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity
So it looks like schisandra can protect the liver! That's kind of cool!
