Why is your Magtein so expensive?

I in general prefer to buy my supplements/nootropics from ND, but Magtein in particular is not just more expensive, but so much more expensive than other sources that I genuinely can't justify buying it from you guys. Is it an issue with suppliers?
Nootropics Depot: $0.44/capsule

Surprising that so many companies would be willing to sell it at a loss...unless it comes back to what you said about some companies cutting it with Chinese magnessium l-threonate.
Magtein is pretty much the only supplement staple of mine that I don't buy from ND, due to the price difference. I usually get it from Life Extension, but the low price from brands like that did have me wondering if it was too good to be true.

Loss or breakeven. Many companies do it all the time, either to gain market share to push people out, or to unload inventory that they bought but did not sell. It happens all the time. It's especially true on Amazon, where sales velocity factors into where you rank on search results. So many brands sell at a loss for a while to get their sales velocity up, buy fake reviews, and then get a high ranking that is self-fulfilling once you get to the top. This is why some brands have MAP agreements, or minimum advertised pricing agreements, as part of their TMLA (trademark licensing agreement). This is to prevent sellers of their products from getting into pricing wars with each other and the bigger guys trying to push out the little guys in the process. That's likely what is happening here. We have been doing a lot of educational blogs on things, including Magtein, and have been advertising a lot. So we are in the process of taking some market share from the bigger brands. Easiest way to turn customers against us is to make it look like we are price gouging, when we are just following the MAP agreements we all signed. I can't compete in a market that is breaking the rules. I am perfectly fine playing by the rules if everyone else is. However, I get very upset when it turns out I am the only schmuck sitting here following the rules while our competitors break them and make it look like we are the bad guys. We actually wrote everyone at AIDP on Saturday when this post popped up, and they responded right away. Either everyone follows the rules, or nobody does.
