Percentage of elementary magnesium in the 800mg magnesium glycinate capsules

Hey.
On the specification sheet of the 800mg magnesium glycinate capsules box it says that 12.5-15% is magnesium. Does that mean that 12.5-15% of each capsule is elementary magnesium?

Glad to help! Many people probably never thought about these things. Before I got into nootropics, I spent years of my life flying around the world teaching people. It was in a totally different industry, but I forgot how fulfilling teaching was to me. I guess that's why I spend so much time trying to answer people's questions. I miss that aspect of my life from before.
I love learning! I think it's really the only thing that satisfies that deep urge inside my brain. I look at everything around me every day, and I try to understand it. I break it down and build it back up in my head over and over in new conformations till I find one that fits. Helping to spark that curiosity in learning, and show people it is possible to understand the world around them, is very fulfilling. I think everyone should care about these things, because the search for truth is the entire reason for our existence.
