Immune Defense VS Epicor

I've been reading a bit about the ingredients in Immune Defense and have a couple questions. Mainly wondering why you didn't include Epicor in Immune Defense, but also why I might decide to go with one VS the other. I have to be fairly selective when introducing new stuff, and normally need to replace things instead of add, once I get to one too many pills, adherence for taking anything goes down.

Got it, makes sense. I am mainly curious about this one as I know you were a big believer in the effects of Epicor and it was reading one of your comments from a while ago that got me to do some research and decide to start taking it.
I also realize that in some ways it is probably impossible for you to be impartial with this question, but was/is it hard for you to use something like this instead of Epicor? I think Epicor is one of those products where it isn’t researched a ton, and is a trade secret like you said, so a piece of it is anecdotal and “belief” and now you have replaced it with something that is, to not put too fine a point on it, a guess at what potentially makes it so effective?
I think even for me to start using Epicor was a bit of a leap because I normally force myself to not get swept up in belief when there isn’t hard science, but I also had pretty undeniable results with it. It is one of those things that, even if placebo, whatever, if I never get sick again I’ll pay for it, ya know?

We sell both Epicor and our yeast extract. So one or the other doesn't matter to me. I still think both are good. It's just that Epicor can be expensive for some, and including it in our Immune Defense formula made things too expensive. It is also fermenting things to create zinc and polyphenols, but I already take zinc and polyphenols in my other supplements separately. So concentrating on the β-Glucans that are unique to Saccharomyces cerevisiae make more sense to me for a lower-cost option. I still take Epicor. I cycle back and forth between our yeast and Epicor. However, when developing our yeast I switched solely to that for more than 6 months. I had literally been taking Epicor every single day for years before that. When switching, I noticed no drop in my immune system. I still kept super healthy even though people around me were getting sick. So at least in my personal testing, it worked as well.
