Anyone tried the alcohol defense?

Original post in this thread

MattVibes · 9 points

Hello,
I am a student and so entails a lot of drinking. I am in look of a product that would block the effects of alcohol after consumption and the alcohol defense seems to be backed by several studies (I looked at the individual ingredients). However as a student I am very low on money and therefore 35$ for me is VERY expensive 😅. Does anyone use it regularly? Does it work well?
Thank you

I don't know what it is but I always have a sort of dull head ache the morning after taking alcohol defense. And it's not from the booze, it's a distinct odd feeling that only happens when I take alcohol defense (even just one). I take magnesium glycinate and feel fine, so don't think it's the glycine?

That's probably from the dihydromyricetin. Shit is weird, but it works. The way it binds to the GABA receptor is what I think causes that. If you took a large dose of just DHM you would likely get that effect. It really helps protect from alcohol, though.

ETA on when Lithium Threonate will come to fruition?! I am sooooo excited for this and have been checking the ETA’s daily, haha. The last update was 4 months ago. Thanks for all you guys do!

The manufacturer we were working with pulled out on the project, and the other labs we have gotten interested want crazy MOQs. We are still working on it, but it is hard to get manufacturers to take on projects right now
