Obviously one night is not enough data for a scientific consensus, but I am glad it made that drastic of an effect on your recovery score! Your previous night was over nine hours of sleep, but you didn't recover. The second night had less total sleep, but it was more restful. This is an ideal result, as over nine hours of sleep without actually recovering is not ideal at all. Fewer hours of more restful sleep is much more ideal. Anyone going over 8 hours of sleep on a regular basis is likely having poor sleep quality, or has other issues like depression affecting their sleep time. 6-8 hours is ideal for most adults. Going outside of that range on a regular basis means something is adversely affecting it.
Your heart rate variability is how the software is calculating your restfulness. That data is showing it was an 18% improvement after one night. Pretty cool, but I definitely want to see your data as time progresses.
