Ah I thought the weighing platter looked quite small. Would you be able to use the included tray on the scale then put a bigger tray above that tray? Would that still allow accurate weighing? Also does the scale come with two calibration weights or just one?
When do you expect the next scale to be available and what will the price be?

Sure, you could use another platter above the existing one, as long as the total weight stays under 20 grams. You'd just tare it with the new platter on top before weighing. It comes with one calibration weight, and is also tested and calibrated at our facility by two of our internal calibration weights, along with the one in the box. That data is recorded in our records for that serial number, and is documented on a sticker on the inside of the box, along with a QC sign-off. So you can see what we weighed all 3 calibration weights at in our facility on your exact scale, and if there are issues in the future we can go back through the logs to check the data. Literally nobody else is doing things to that level at this price point.
The new scale will be at least a month or two off. The price will likely be around $49 or so. We'll see once everything is finalized.
