The new batch of Cyracos Lemon Balm is much fluffier and much lighter brown in color.

So much so, that I had to do a double take. I understand not all batches are created equal, but is this level of change still ok?
More importantly, is the extract as potent and efficacious as it was before?

I had my team look into everything yesterday. Everything is good. /u/Pretty-Chill covered it well. Plant extracts can vary in organoleptic properties wildly from batch to batch. That's just the nature of something that grows organically. Time of year, weather, sun exposure, cultivar, soil conditions, mineral content in the water, etc. all can play a role in both visual appearance and taste. What matters are the active ingredients. This is why we standardize to specific things. Color, smell, and taste could be the exact same, while the actives are lower. You would not know without testing. Then you get things that look different, but are almost identical from an active ingredient standpoint. That is the case with this Cyracos batch. Nothing to be concerned about.
