Vitamin U

Methylmethionine sulfonium chloride, aka "vitamin U" or S-methylmethionine is an interesting gut healing compound I'd be interested in seeing. It's a naturally occurring plant compound and got the "vitamin U" reputation for its ability to heal ulcers within days (4x faster than conventional treatments), preventing aspirin damage, and also skin healing.
It is found in high concentrations in cabbage juice extract and believed to be the reason why cabbage juice has such a positive effect in healing ulcers. Unfortunately cabbage juice tastes pretty horrible and you need quite a lot of it to get the required vitamin U.
The ability to heal an ulcer in around 10 days is pretty impressive and might be the strongest gut healing supplement I've seen other than BPC-157. Ulcers are a common problem and gut healing has been a big trend in health supplement…

That is actually pretty cool! I had not really read up on that one yet. There are some people here at our offices that would be very interested in this compound as well. Let me see what I can find out.
