Problems with GHK

Original post in this thread

So I just tried injecting 3mg GHK (all I managed to get out of the bottle) with 5mg GHK-Cu. Got some weird effects. Immediately I became really warm and tired and had to lay down. My throat started swelling up like I had gotten an infection. Injection site hurt.

Its a little bit better now (3 hours later) but still feel a bit sick overall (sore throat, nausea, feverish with shivers).

Another weird thing is that a 29g needle isnt enough to get the GHK out of its bottle. I somehow managed to get 2-3mg out, but that was it. Never had that problem with a peptide before. Its like its too crumbly and thick to fit in the needle.

Has anyone else used the straight GHK? Did your effects mirror mine? I know it wasnt the GHK-Cu as Ive used that for several weeks with good effects.

1.5ml is not enough water to fully solvate GHK. I use 5ml. Its solubility properties are different than GHK-Cu.

Your reaction sounds like a systemic inflammatory response. It could be from hitting the wrong site when injecting, from the fact that it was not fully solvated when injected, or your body could have just reacted strangely to that particular peptide.
