Customs asked me for extra information (DHL Express to Germany). Any advice?

This is the third time I order from Ceretropic to Germany. The first two times I ordered through standard USPS mail and the shipment worked fine.
Now for the last order I used DHL Express and the package got stuck in customs in Germany.
I got in touch with them and they asked me to send an email detailing exactly what is in the package. In Ceretropic's description it stated "supplements" which apparently is not enough information for them.
Now my problem is Germany apparently does not allow you to ship any kind of medication from outside of Europe. Since I ordered Memantine it could be that they google it and find that it is used as a medication.
Does anyone have any experience with this situation? I'm aware that it is my own responsibility if it does not pass customs. How best I could declare my package to them? Will they usually open it? I imagine so.

That's a tough one. Based on what I know about Germany, and what you ordered, I would avoid admitting to them that you ordered it and what is in it. Email my support team, and we can reship to you standard mail. Also, for future orders, I would suggest using a re-shipper through another EU country to be the safest.
