New website imminent within 72 hours!

Yes. We did migrate people's accounts. However, it was causing a bunch of issues with the site. For one, the passwords do not transfer. So everyone would immediately need to do a password reset. This confused some people in our beta. Also, some people would have the site go blank once they logged in. This is because the data transfer was not putting people into the proper customer groups. So they logged in, the system saw them as part of zero customer groups, and it showed them zero products. This is when we decided to just start fresh, and have people create new accounts.
It's going to be a lot smoother of a transition with everyone making new accounts. We won't have to deal with old email addresses people forgot, or old shipping addresses causing issues with outgoing orders. It's going to be a fresh start on the new platform. It's going to be really nice!
