Some things better left in the past? - Bacopa

I've been taking bacopa everyday for a while now. It has helped my anxiety quite a bit. My memory has increased a fair bit. Both short term and long term memory.
The problem I seem to be having with bacopa is that a lot of shitty things that have happened in the past are coming back again. Vividly. Both in dreams and just randomly throughout the day. Particularly my past relationships. It's all coming back. With the memories that I was never able to remember much at all before bacopa, come the old feelings. It's the past and I'd rather not remember these past relationships/feelings so damn vividly.
Has anyone who has taken bacopa long term been able to work through this side effect? I really enjoy the memory benefits and less anxiety but I might stop taking it because of this.

Is it coincidence? People have been known to have vivid, impressing dreams without taking bacopa. I don't keep a diary of these sorts of things, but I don't recall having an increase in these sorts of dreams over the course of 345 days of uninterrupted bacopa (confounded with other things of course).

Ehh, I am inclined to believe this one. I too get very vivid memories from my childhood while on bacopa. They are usually happy ones, though. So I actually like it. I don't really get the dreams. However, I do get the conscious memories throughout the day, when things spark them; like a song or smell.
