It honestly is a skill that can be learned. I don't know why it's so taboo to go find a fucking parking lot and practice. None of this "I've already got my license, I can do it just fine" bullshit.
You know what I did when I first got my license? Found the biggest open parking lot I could, waited for it to pour down rain, and drove and slid that fucker all over the place. You know who has never wrecked or lost control during a heavy rain? This guy. Because I fucking practiced. Snow, too. That mall parking lot was empty with 3 inches of wonderful white goodness in it. Slid my car all over that shit. And note, this is Tennessee, we don't get snow much. But when we do, I'm prepared.
Again, because I actually practiced and learned how to deal with it.
