Too soon for MDMA again?

Original post in this thread

bobipajo · 3 points

Hi, a little bit of background information:
I'd say I'm experienced with MDMA, took it two and a half months ago at a festival (130mg intial dose, then about 150mg again over the course of the night), took it again 13 days ago (140mg initial dose, then redosed twice about 50mg each).

Now, I know about the 2-3 months rule, and have always adhered to it in the last two years but now there's something going on tonight and I'd like to take some again (probably, if at all, without redosing).

My question: Really bad idea or not that bad for once?

Thanks!

I wouldn't just to be safe and not deplete your seratonin. Just have a good time.

It's less about 5-HT depletion, and more about tolerance buildup. Your NMDA receptors are much slower to recover than your serotonin stores. Next time I take MDMA, I am going to administer it with memantine. That should prevent tolerance buildup.

But obviously 13 days is just not enough time for a responsible MDMA user, regardless of supplementation.
