Actually according to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7562497 Dextromethorphan has mu, delta, and kappa binding affinities. I do agree though that you could make it more correct by specifying mu-opioid receptors. However, that would not be as effective in communicating to our target audience I think.

What are you talking about, Willis? That says that levomethorphan has opioid affinities. The dextrorotory enantiomer (DXM) does not.
