WHAT?! The neighbors? What dicks...

Original post in this thread

So, what in the fuck druggit... SWIMs apartment was broken into last Thursday and some ganj and paraphernalia were stolen. SWIM really didn't know who to expect.

But last night SWIM heard the next door neighbors getting drunk and starting to talk about how they don't like SWIM and his roommate, and how they planned Thursday so well, how they accidentally left a tire iron, and if cops get involved, they just won't talk. They referred to them with their full names and everything. SWIM heard clinking from jars he kept the ganj in and heard them talking about how much a big sack should be worth.

So again WHAT THE FUCK!? How is SWIM supposed to deal with this? Can SWIM get his stuff back? SWIM doesn't care about the ganj... just his pieces, and his safety.

Who is SWIM and why did his parents hate him? Whoever he is, he has two choices: escalate or defuse the situation.

Part of me would want to go get just enough meth to make it a trafficking charge, then break in and plant it. Then call in an anonymous tip to the DEA. That's a pretty serous escalation, though. One that probably is best left playing out in my head.

The other part of me would suggest going over there and confronting them. I'd let them know that what they did was a dick move, and they should feel bad. Then I would ask why they hated me enough to pull that. Perhaps you can smooth over a misunderstanding and make amends with your neighbors.

I'd probably listen to my better half and try to fix the situation. It all depends on how dangerous these people are, though. If you think they are sketchy, then you might want some backup with you when you confront them.
